Dead Sea salt grotto in the KYFFHÄUSER-THERME
The salt in our salt grotto comes from the Himalayas and the Dead Sea in Jordan. The salt concentration in the Dead Sea is around nine times higher than in normal seawater. Thanks to the rapid evaporation in the hot desert climate, the salts, minerals and trace elements remain concentrated. Due to the high humidity, warmth and enrichment with brine from the local healing spring, the air has a healing effect on your respiratory tract, mucous membranes and skin.
