Relaxation - Qi Gong

Qi Gong is a very old art of movement. It is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) alongside acupuncture and others. Qi Gong are the healing exercises of TCM.

Qi Gong strengthens the body's own vital energy (Qi) through regular exercise practice (Gong). The focus is on relaxation. This is because a relaxed and therefore permeable body is the best prerequisite for Qi to flow. So we practise moving in a relaxed way, away from the pressure to perform, higher, further, bigger...

Qi Gong trains body awareness and has a regulating and balancing effect on the entire organism.

It creates inner peace.

In a Qi Gong class, we practise a selected series of exercises over several sessions. The exercises are simple and are repeated several times.

You can practise in comfortable everyday clothing. You can practise in soft shoes, socks or barefoot. No previous experience is necessary. The exercise area at Naturgut Hörnle is barrier-free.

In summer, when it is hot, we practise in the shade under large trees on a meadow. In spring and fall, we practice on the wooden planks above the pond. When it rains, we can use the old greenhouses at Naturgut Hörnle.

Qi Gong is traditionally practiced outdoors in order to be in contact with the energies of nature. Only in winter do we retreat to the rooms of the Ehrenkirchen-Norsingen Karate School.
