Canoe rental on the Alte Elz near Riegel (for groups and individuals)
The Alte Elz flows leisurely and idyllically through the expansive Rhine Valley towards the "Father Rhine". Today you meander through the countryside, passing forests, flowering fields and charming little villages. The tour starts in Riegel, where you will be instructed by an experienced canoe guide who will accompany you throughout the tour. He will show you how to steer the canoe and how to make the best progress with the paddles. Then make yourself comfortable in your canoe - it's a little wobbly at first, but you'll soon be in your element. You can drift down the Alte Elz for just under three hours and experience a different kind of sightseeing tour on your canoe tour. If you take a more sporty approach to canoeing, you can really step on the gas - this requires a lot of muscle power! You'll make fast progress on the calmly flowing river and can really make up ground.
