A round on the SwinGolf course is free of charge for Hansefit members.
The SwinGolf course "Mehringer Heide" in Emsbüren - Mehringen offers a special kind of sporting leisure activity on 90,000 m2.
leisure activity of a special kind. On the spacious 9-hectare course, beginners and professional golfers, young and old alike, can put their skills to the test on the 18 holes.
Instead of heavy golf equipment, the SwinGolfer only needs one club. The three-sided club was specially developed for this type of rustic golf. Thanks to the three sides, the club can be used for any type of shot, whether left- or right-handed. The occasional golfer hires the club and the ball directly from the course. As this golf sport does not require a handicap test or training lessons, you can get started straight away. Of course, there are a few rules to follow - particularly with regard to safety and maintenance of the course - but these are explained in fifteen minutes and you're ready to go.
First, the new golfer practises a few tee shots under supervision, usually in front of a net. Here you can
familiarize themselves with the club and gain their first experience. For beginners, it is
not so easy to hit the ball at all.
Then you head to the first tee. A board shows the course and the length. The PAR number shows how many strokes a reasonably experienced golfer could hit the ball into the hole. For a beginner, it is hard to believe that a length of 130 meters, for example, can be covered in 4 strokes (par 4) to the hole, but you will soon have your first sense of achievement.
