The Nottuln wave pool is well-known far beyond the town's borders. Its centerpiece is the large swimming pool with approximately 1,400 m² of water surface, where a wave machine regularly creates a genuine ocean-like atmosphere – including surf in the shallow end.

Open from May to September, the outdoor pool offers ideal conditions for warm summer days: a large sunbathing lawn with loungers, shady spots under trees, and beach chairs by the pool.

For added variety, there are two beach volleyball courts, a bistro, diving opportunities from the 5-meter platform, and a separate children's pool with play and mud features.
