Description
YOGA for and after cancer - Kornwestheim LIVE - Every Thursday
Whether you have just been diagnosed with cancer, are undergoing treatment or would like to regain your strength after completing treatment: Yoga has a holistic effect and can actively support your recovery process. Numerous clinical studies have proven the positive effects of yoga!
With my special yoga program, I would like to help affected cancer patients to improve their quality of life during and after cancer treatment. I am also a cancer patient myself and have been practicing yoga for many years.
Just try a class with me - that way you can find out for yourself whether yoga can support you on your road to recovery and whether it is right for you.
In my course, I address the side and long-term effects of cancer therapies, such as lymphoedema, polyneuropathy, stress, restlessness, sleep disorders and cancer brain. In my course, you will also learn how yoga can support you in alleviating the side effects through practical exercises.
For the first time, YOGA and CANCER combines medical knowledge about cancer with the science of yoga to create a unique concept that many participants have already experienced personally.
The focus of my yoga classes for people with cancer is on feeling yourself, accepting yourself and gently developing new energy. With renewed confidence in your own strength! Both patients and their relatives are welcome to attend my classes.
#Yoga as a supportive companion:
- Taking into account the different stages of therapy (whether chemotherapy, radiotherapy or rehabilitation)
- is tailored to the special physical and emotional needs of people who have experienced cancer
- can help to alleviate the side effects of therapy (fatigue, nausea, pain, neuropathy, lymphoedema)
- accepts limitations
- discovers resources
- creates new perspectives
- contributes to conscious self-care
- is free from pressure to perform
The course is suitable for beginners and advanced students.
Let's walk a part of your (yoga) path together.
I look forward to seeing you.
Course time: Always Thursdays from 19:30 - 20:45
Course location: Murrstrasse 18, 70806 Kornwestheim (the entrance is on the side and is located in a private house)
The yoga room is open for you 15 minutes before the course starts!
Parking spaces directly in front of the house or in the immediate vicinity. Entrance at the side of the private house on the right.
Please plan an additional 10 minutes before and after yoga so that you can arrive in peace and quiet and then have time to take a deep breath and return home without rushing!
Please inform me in advance if you have any physical limitations or are pregnant!
Please come in comfortable (sports) clothing and bring something to drink. Please bring: Your own yoga mat, blanket to cover yourself and a cushion to sit on as well as warm socks. Ideally you should not eat anything for approx. 1.5 hours before yoga.
