Description

Traditional Tai Chi Chuan - health and martial arts with gentle movements

We learn the curriculum of the Ma Tsun Kuen style, starting with the foundation exercises, then the 6 coordination exercises (Tai Chi Tsao) and building on this the first form (choreography), the 13-energy form (Shi San Shi). This is the basis for everything else and is taken up anew each time, repeated, corrected, refined and individually instructed so that everyone is corrected at their own level and can develop further. If you are absent, you don't miss anything except experience. You can join and leave at any time.

The exercises are very gentle, it's all about letting go more and more, which is one of the most difficult things you can imagine, but at the same time so rewarding and exhilarating.

Over time, we will gain more and more insight into the aspect of martial arts and why we are practicing so gently and softly (and what this has to do with fighting). We will also incorporate very cooperative partner exercises from time to time. Another challenge, but one that will pay off in the end.

The Monday course is slightly longer (approx. 90 minutes), the Wednesday course is exactly one hour.
