Pilates is a full-body workout. It promotes coordination, stability, strength and flexibility, as well as the connection between body and mind. One-sided and stressful strains in everyday life can lead to tension, shortening and restrictions. Pilates gives you back alignment, length and uprightness. The principle of centring, which is fundamental to Pilates, will stabilize and strengthen your core muscles. You will feel more stable and 'upright'. Pilates is a great workout that is not only good for your body, but also for your mind. The strengthening exercises are complemented by elements from yoga and, above all, we learn to consciously perceive our body.
