Calm down in a relaxed atmosphere, recharge your batteries and strengthen your awareness of body and mind. With the help of various mindfulness exercises (e.g. body scan, sitting meditation, mindful body exercises) according to Jon Kabat-Zinn's 8-week course program, we get to know ourselves better and find a more conscious way of dealing with the challenges of our lives.
The audio instructions and a workbook help us to integrate what we have learned directly into our everyday lives. Each course session focuses on a specific topic, such as thoughts, conscious stress response, self-care, mindfulness in communication, etc. We take time to exchange ideas and practise in small groups.
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness means consciously perceiving experiences in the present moment without judging them. Through this open and accepting attitude, we gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and recognize automatic behaviours. We do not concern ourselves with the future or the past, but practise being in the moment - the only time we can really live!
Scientific studies have proven the effectiveness of the program for chronic pain, exhaustion, depression, burnout and many other illnesses. The program is used in many clinics and health centers worldwide and can positively support medical and psychotherapeutic work.
