Description
The varied and efficient athletics and running training for all recreational and health athletes, beginners and advanced runners.
The runcademy is more than just a running crew or running club. We offer all recreational and health athletes, beginners and ambitious runners a varied, efficient endurance and athletic training program with annual training planning and high quality support, just like personal training.
Why annual planning? Always 100% is not possible. Running all the time doesn't work either. That's why we divide the year into different blocks. Building on the classic competition calendar with seasonal highlights in spring and fall, there is basic training, competition-specific training, regenerative weeks and winter training.
Why athletic training? Endurance mainly trains metabolic processes but not strength, coordination or mobility. The aim is to optimize movements (not only for running, but also for everyday private and professional life) and to avoid classic running injuries. It also makes you faster.
Can anyone run? Everyone trains together - beginners, health athletes, recreational runners and competitors. Every training session starts with a joint exercise block. The running unit is then divided into performance groups.
Ready for a trial training session?
We don't have a fixed running course. You can join in at any time, train with us and achieve your training goal. You can try out our training groups at the usual training times. This way you can get to know the training and the other runners live.

Our weekly schedule:
Monday 6.30 pm - running training - athletics and basic endurance
Wednesday 6.30 pm - running training - athletics and speed training
Thursday 6.30 p.m. - Stabi/strength/circuit/sling training
Friday 6.30 a.m. - Early bird workout
Saturday 10.00 - Trail running/hiking/... (individual dates)
The meeting points vary and are mostly south of Dortmund city center - e.g. Rombergpark, Phönix-West, Rote Erde stadium, around the Westfalenhalle, Westfalenpark.

Stabi training on Thursday and Friday takes place in Westfalenpark.
Entry to the park (evening rate) is required.
For regular participation, we recommend an annual pass (e.g. discounted with a collective order at the end of the year)
